The New Store’s First BLOG!

All of us at the F-4 Phantom II Society welcome you to its New Store. It has been an exploration and journey to finally unveil it and to present it to you. We hope you find it easy to navigate, free of errors, simple in completing transactions or inquiries, and just plain fun to look through and explore! After all, if it isn’t fun and doesn’t bring value, why do it?

The old store served us well for many years. It provided a focus that other merchandise stores on E-Commerce sites may not have; The McDonnell Douglas F-4 Phantom II Fighter Bomber. After all, it is about the airplane and all who were and remain in service to her.

As each of us embark on a new journey of discovering the New Store’s merchandise presentations, capacity, responsiveness to customers, search, and the ability to post blogs and other communications, there is one inspiring relationship that has been consistent from the beginning of the first Store to the unvailing of this new one;

The Store’s Founder, its Webmaster, and F-4 Society Life Member, Lt. Col. Fred Sheffler, USAF Retired.

Zen Master, Shunryu Suzuki said; “In the beginner’s mind there are many possibilities, but in the experts mind there are few!”

Lt. Col. Sheffler is our Website Master Store Expert. Through his skills, talents and abilities navigating the many possibilities, I would like to dedicate this new Store’s opening to him.

Lt. Col. Sheffler’s mission, vision, values and beleifs, made the new Store one of a few.

As we each explore this new Store’s beginning , please remember what T.S Elliot wrote;“We shall not cease from exploration, and the end of all our exploration will be to arrive where we started, and know the place for the first time.”

Thank you Lt. Col. Sheffler, for all that you did, all that you made possible in the New Store and all that we as yet, will explore and know for the first time. Your hard work and professional dedication made it possible Sir!!!!! You are the Master!
